Menong's Sugar Cookies....

1 C Crisco & margarine                

1 C granulated sugar

1 C light brown sugar +2 tbsp       

3 eggs (cream together)



4-1/2 C flour (Gold Metal)            

3 tsp soda

1 tsp cream of tartar                      

1 tsp salt

4 tsp vanilla                                   

1 C butter milk



Bake  375 - 400 - 12 minutes.   When storing, place wax

paper between layers of cookies, otherwise they will stick

together.
