Menong's Snicker Doodles....

1 C shortening (Crisco & margarine)        

1-1/2 C granulated sugar

2 eggs                                                        

2-3/4 C flour (Gold Metal)

2 tsp cream of tartar (scant)                      

1 tsp soda

1/2 tsp salt



Cream shortening, sugar & eggs.  Sift flour, cream of tartar & salt

together, and add to other ingredients.  Chill in refrigerator.  Take

tsp of dough and roll in ball, roll in sugar & cinnamon mixture.

Bake 12-15 minutes in 400 degree oven.  Grease cookie sheets.
